Most modern mobile models include Bluetooth technology in their features. Bluetooth allows individuals to share content such as pictures or music in a matter of seconds. The use of Bluetooth has persisted thanks to its interactivity and speed.
Why bluetooth is perfect for mobile devices
Bluetooth fits in easily as a mobile device feature. Its technology complements the growing memory stored in phones. More people are using phones not only for their call features but also to store media content. You don’t have to bring an mp3 player and your laptop around to have entertainment on the go. With an able phone, you can have your media stored and still share it with other phones. Bluetooth sends the content fast and across various models. Nowadays, you don’t need to have the same phone brand to enjoy each other’s songs or videos.
Top brands that sell mobile devices that use bluetooth
Nokia and Motorola are the top selling brands with a Bluetooth feature. Samsung is also catching up with these dominating brands. The most recommended mobiles are those that had Bluetooth in their models since the earlier days.
Although Bluetooth isn’t as used because of wifi technology, it’s a convenient and free way to send content in an instant. You won’t have a problem looking for mobile devices with this since it is now considered an old technology. Its lingering presence, however, only shows its durability over time. You can get an inexpensive mobile with this feature nowadays and still be technology savvy.

I read this good news from a website about a breakthrough technology called Auto-txt which uses Bluetooth to aid in the fight against car theft. It' s probably your first time to hear about it and are curious how it works, nevertheless this development is music to the ears of car owners everywhere.
Auto-txt was developed by a Covetry-based automotive company, RDM Group, through the help of Ezurio, a London-based firm. Ezurio provided the Auto-txt with their Bluetooth Intelligent Serial Modules. The Auto-text is a car system that makes use of Bluetooth technology embedded in mobile phones or PDAs to identify a car owner. It works by identifying that a car is stolen with the keys in but the cellphone is not present. Is a second key for the car. Auto-txt is a revolutionary technology that could help fight car theft and increase security for car owners.
Luxury car manufacturers such as Jaguar Cars and Land Rover will be using the tracking system in their 2006 cars. They even have their own names : Jaguar Watch and Land Rover Watch. The cars will be initially available in the UK and the rest of Europe.

As the market competition for wireless peripherals gets stronger by the day, Belkin has taken advantage of its superiority by releasing a USB Bluetooth adapter the size of a matchbox. It has a very compact design, pretty slick for a a little USB. This amazing wireless tool lets you transfer your files from one PC to another. File transfer has never been this easy. Call that wireless convenience.
And if that ain't enough, it also synchronizes with a PDA (Palm or Pocket PC O.S.) and wireless connection of the internet through a Bluetooth powered cellphone. But if you're the type of person who wants to do everything half the time, this is not an option for you. Generally, USB adapters take time in transferring large documents and files. In addition, it is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X platforms.
Like most computer peripherals, this USB Bluetooth adapter is not spared from any technological backlash that users may encounter. The departure from wired to wireless communication has made the lives of PC users a lot easier but we don't live in a completely perfect world.

As I am writing this article using my Bluetooth-enabled laptop, I have come to realize that Bluetooth has had tremendous effects to its users especially to professional who rely on their gadgets to complete their tasks. I, personally cannot transfer my data from my PDA to my laptop without using Bluetooth, otherwise I would have a difficult time merely inserting the wires in the dockets of my computer.
Companies make use of mobile computers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals that aid their workers achieve better results and maximize productivity. However, many of these tasks sometimes literally hit snags when wires and cables, which connect these peripherals, are caught with one another, tangled, or broken. Cable ports and dockets are sometimes constraints to users and sometimes hinder the company to make enhancements or upgrades.
The solution, as we all know, to this kind of predicament is going wireless using Bluetooth technology. It not only gives smooth wireless connectivity but provides a more convenient approach in computing applications. In addition, the use of Bluetooth-enabled peripherals also comes in a cost-effective and safe use for companies. When you remove wires and cables, so is cost. With no cables or connectors to wear or break, Bluetooth interfaces improve uptime and productivity. This cutting edge technology is truly one of man's greatest brainchild.

A PC Card Adapter is included with the devices. Using the card adapter, you may access the files contained in other Bluetooth PC's. You can also connect to LAN via a Bluetooth Access Point or connect to the Internet by dial up by means of a Bluetooth cell phone. A user-friendly application software is also included which can support different Bluetooth Profiles.
Personally, I think that this accessory didn't live up to its hype. It worked well in my PDA and my Bluetooth enabled phone. I enjoyed surfing the net as soon as I was finished setting it up. However, it didn't work as great to my laptop. AmbiCom's website said that a Windows XP driver was under development but that was over a year ago. Their latest driver was for the Windows 2000 so XP users would only waste their money on this product.
