If you have a phone, you have definitely heard of Bluetooth. Bluetooth is an electronic technology that allows paired devices to exchange information. The distance between the paired devices should not be much, though. Here are some other information about Bluetooth.
Bluetooth 101
Bluetooth is primarily used for transferring data but it has also been known to produce some very cool applications. Regarding the pairing, however, note that you do not have to keep on pairing two devices. Once a pairing has been established, it is permanent unless deleted. Other devices trying to connect with your device will be asked to provide a password. This is to ensure that your device will not be sent dangerous viruses or will not be “bluejacked”. This term means that your device’s files will not be taken from you without your permission.
Bluetooth apps
Bluetooth continues to improve and evolve as new needs in technology arise. There is a particular Bluetooth-powered headset that is proving to be a lifesaver. This particular headset helps drivers talk via their mobile phones without having to hold them. This makes rides less prone to accidents, while not completely stopping the flow of possibly important calls.
Bluetooth will probably be enhanced further in the future as each generation looks for more applications that could make life easier.

This is how to be generous: share. Share whatever you have with those who don't have it. Share luscious food, money, clothes, your movies, and mp3 downloads. You can also share your spouse if you want. You know how to take jokes, right? The latest way of sharing today is through Bluetooth. This is how techy people share. To all techy peasants, don't worry I'll teach you how to use it. I was also a techy peasant so I know how you feel. Bluetooth sharing is the technological way of being generous, and it's really fun.

In sharing your latest downloaded mp3s, which are in your mobile phone, you must first make sure that your phone is Bluetooth accessible. It's usually found in your Connectivity folder. Ask your friend to turn his Bluetooth on, then select the songs you want to share with him by marking them all. Press send and select via Bluetooth. Afterwards, all you have to do is to wait for him to receive it. Sending any music via Bluetooth is fun, plus it's free. Your load will never be deducted.

I'm calling all the people in the world. Practice Bluetooth sharing now because it is free. You can download anything you want on your mobile phone and send them to your friends. Your friends might send you a thank you message for it (via Bluetooth, too). Or, if you want you can put some music to that boring life of yours by asking your friends to send you their latest downloads. Practice using Bluetooth technology while you enjoy Bluetooth sharing.

Whoever said that Bluejacking is bad, is a guy who is bored with his ugly wife. He needs to find another woman, a whore probably, to give his giant slab of rotten Chorizo a little exercise. Bluejacking was never and will never be a crime if and only if, you use it to spread the good things that you've received in life. So grab your phones and personal digital assistants, and read on for the do's and don't's on using your Bluetooth:
The Do's:
Thou shall use Bluetooth to spread malicious messages, video scandals, and porn pictures.
Thou shall use Bluetooth to broadcast news like you've seen your respectable school principal molesting your ninety-year old school janitress or you paid an arsonist to burn your city hall to ashes. Thou shall use Bluetooth for sending solutions to trigonometry problems. Thou can also use thy Bluetooth for cheating during quizzes and periodical exams.
The Don't's:
Thou shall not use Bluetooth for sending inspirational quotes and Biblical messages. Thou shall not use Bluetooth to send book clippings of Chicken Soup for The Soul, The Daily Bread, and other religious materials. Never use Bluetooth to send video clips or polytones of Paris Hilton's awful album.
These are only few rules about Bluejacking. I know you'll have more to learn as you explore the colorful world of Bluetooth technology.

I love Bluetooth, who doesn't? But there are some people who have doubts about the power of this technology and they are the same people who don't know how it works. Or at least don't find enjoyment in how their Bluetooth gadgets benefit them. The Bluetooth SIG, has launched the Bluetooth Experience Icon Program to give consumers the much needed information regarding this simple yet sometimes imperfect technology. It helps people to buy their Bluetooth products without the problem of pairing up their devices. In that way, consumers will not end up frustrated because of the glitches that they encounter with their Bluetooth purchases.
The easy to read icons offered are printed in the product's packaging so that the next time someone buy a Bluetooth gadget, he or she will know what the gadget is for. The five icons represent the five main functions of Bluetooth technology. The Print icon, as the name implies, means that the product you just have bought is capable of printing wirelessly direct from a Bluetooth handheld like mobile phone or PDA to a Bluetooth printer. The Input icon guides people to the knowledge that the device let's them input data wirelessly into their laptops using a Bluetooth keyboard. The Headset icon will tell you that you can talk on your phone hands-free. The Transfer icon tells you that you can send and receive date with your Bluetooth device. Lastly, the Music icon would mean that the product allows you to listen to music using a wireless stereo, headphone or headsets.

Various ways are done to connect different electronic devices. Among the means are Infrared signals, electrical wires, component cables, and others. However, such means require connectors or plugs that may lead to a more complex method of connecting. Since the introduction of Bluetooth connectivity, electronic device users find more and more interesting use for the said modern wireless connection.
The catch of Bluetooth connection is that it is inexpensive, automatic, and wireless. Bluetooth works as a networking standard that is known to work at two levels. It is made to resolve on the use of wires in order to transmit, connect, or transfer information to other electronic devices. Also, it gives connection at a physical level since it's a radio frequency standard. Next is that it provides a protocol for agreement level because it allows users to agree on how large the bits are sent, the number of times it will be sent, and other informative matters regarding wireless connection. It requires a hardware and software interoperability.
It is said that Bluetooth is also intended to go over the problems of an infrared device in terms of electronic connections. Hence, with such advancement in wireless connections, one should no longer wonder as to how it suddenly became in demand to various electronic geeks.

Bluetooth is a short-range communication system that makes it possible to send and receives short-wave radio signals between two capable devices without using a single wire or cable. Being wireless, it gives more convenience by getting rid of the wires dangling from a headset, cables at the back of your computer or hook up portable devices for them to communicate with each other. Aside from being wireless, Bluetooth peripherals are the preferred choice of companies and individuals because it's cost effective and reliable. It's even more reliable than Infrared. Suffice to say Bluetooth makes possible communication without the wires.
The use of Bluetooth finds its way in most gadgets today. We have computers, laptops, mobile phones, Personal Digital Assistant, keyboards, and mice that all have Bluetooth embedded in them. This is one of the many technologies that have benefited us in more ways than one. But despite its pervasiveness, some people are still clueless how it works.
Imagine that you're at the office and you will be attending a very important business meeting in about an hour. You want to go over your presentation just so it goes smoothly. You search the needed files in your laptop and realized that it's all stored in your PDA. You started to panic until you realized you can transfer your files from your PDA to your laptop through Bluetooth. It saved your day.
Cellphones that have Bluetooth functions in them are getting quite popular these days. And the things that you can do with these versatile gadgets are endless, although some are dependent on your cellphone model and network provider of course. You can browse the web in your laptop via GPRS using your Bluetooth cellphone. For entertainment, you can play games with friends using two separate cellphones. Likewise, you can take calls or listen to MP3 in your cellphone via a Bluetooth headset. You can even print photos from your cellphone directly to a Bluetooth printer. The list goes on, but one thing's for sure Bluetooth has forever changed the way we communicate and even the way we live life.

Bluejacking is getting very popular these days. It's a word you see so much on the web that you've probably grown tired of it. But do you really have any clue about what bluejacking is and how it is done? But first you have to know what bluetooth is and I'm pretty sure that you know it like the back of your hands. That is, assuming you read my entries here.
Bluejacking happens when you've been sent unsolicited messages via bluetooth. In this sense, it sounds like Bluejacking can be likened to spam. But, of course, that can only happen between two bluetooth-enabled devices like cellphones, handheld PDAs, or laptops. Since bluetooth has a very limited range, specifically on mobile phones, it's very possible that a Bluejacker could be somewhere within a 10-meter radius (+ 100 meters for laptops). Although it's relatively harmless, Bluejacking can sometimes annoy people especially when you received an annoying text message, sounds, or images.
If you want to Bluejack someone like your crush or archenemy who could just be near you, then it's very easy. Just be sure that he holds a bluetooth phone. For how-tos, tips and tricks on Bluejacking, just log on to www.bluejackq.com.

You've probably seen Bluetooth devices while walking down the street or roaming around in a computer-filled room. Those headsets, mice, keyboards, cellphones, laptops and a whole line of other techy stuffs that are capable of transmitting information wirelessly. Using the Bluetooth radio technology is probably the aftermath of a hungry civilization. Hungry for technology that is. You may be impressed with aesthetics while you're using your gadget. But as with anything, Bluetooth has its negative side like security issues. What if your laptop is unknowingly hacked by some weirdo crook somewhere in the building. That's how powerful Bluetooth is. You may not know it but you're already being watched and tracked.
The Bluetooth Special Interest Group has announced to the world that there has been a significant increase in the number of devices that were shipped over the past year. And these gadgets are not simply some run of the mill devices, as they are equipped with the latest Bluetooth configuration. Sad to say, these will be the same gadgets that will be trapped into the blackhole that Bluetooth itself has created. What to do: watch out?

I use Bluetooth technology mostly to get multimedia messages from my friends. I take a peek on their cellular phones or personal digital assistant and ask them to send images, MP3s or ringtones that I like to my PDA. In turn, I send them some multimedia messages too. This way, we can have the pictures we like without sending it via the cellular network.
We don't have to pay the extra bill anymore. I'm wondering why the networks have not tried to stop this sharing, they seem to charge for everything nowadays. Anyway, thanks to the cellphone manufacturers for putting Bluetooth on our phones.
