Electronic devices that have the capability to communicate have long been equipped with Bluetooth. This makes it easy to send information from one device to another.
Basic applications for Bluetooth
Bluetooth is well known for being able to transfer files from one device to another. So, you could send files you have in your computer to your mobile phone and vice versa. This way, you can also update your phone directory. You could also use Bluetooth to provide wireless networking for a group of computers. This will require very little bandwidth so transfer of files should be fast and efficient. Bluetooth enables communication to hardware such as a printer and mouse.
Fun things you can do with Bluetooth gadgets
You may forever associate Bluetooth with fast and easy file transfer. Bluetooth, however, can also be fun because of its connectivity. Seventh generation game consoles from Nintendo and Sony actually make use of Bluetooth technology to enable their wireless controllers. So, Bluetooth can be more powerful than just being able to send files for a few seconds. It can sustain connection.
There are a lot more to discover about Bluetooth technology. Normally, people think about Bluetooth when they cannot find an external hard drive to save files that they want to transfer to another device. Bluetooth technology, however, has more interesting functions than that.

Bluetooth as a term was coined from Danish History. Denmark had a King named Harald Bluetooth who was renowned for his ability to help people communicate. It is safe for us to say then that it was a very appropriate reference to the wireless technology that helps us all communicate even without wires.
Bluetooth technology is particularly useful in offices and businesses, big or small. But in some instances, some businesses don't use Bluetooth because they don't have an idea how it can benefit their work and increase productivity. Bluetooth devices are proliferating. Tons of products and peripherals are released everyday for the benefit of consumers. And of course, we cannot remove the fact that companies are also benefited in terms of increased sales and imports.
A good example is BlueAnt Wireless. the Bluetooth company is Australia's largest supplier of Bluetooth peripheral devices. Just recently, the company has decided to open an office in New York in the United States. This market strategy hopes to expand its availability of its wireless peripherals such as headsets and speakerphones that will be available in retail stores in the US. BlueAnt considers the US as a big market for their products due to the fact that the country is the largest market for Bluetooth phones.

When we buy electronics, we are familiar with names like Japan or Korea imprinted on the items. However, Taiwan is fast becoming a primary source of technology in Asia joining the ranks with Japan, Singapore, and South Korea. Most Asian companies that manufacture the latest products, which have found their niche in the US market, are actually based in the aforementioned countries.
BLUETAKE Technology is one of the leading bluetooth-device manufacturers in Asia. Established in 2001 in Taipei, capital of Taiwan, BLUETAKE takes on a customer-oriented approach by selling Bluetooth peripherals and gadgets to end users. And as with all device manufacturers, BLUETAKE makes use of a cutting-edge technology (bluetooth) which is more ideal than wired devices for instant mobile communication and wireless entertainment.
A complete range of bluetooth peripherals from USB adapters, mice, printer adapters as well as bluetooth headsets, transmitters, and wireless audio headsets for music lovers make up the suite of BLUETAKE's high-quality products. Extending its products to the global market, the company attends international exhibitions on IT such as CES, Computex, and CebIT in order to promote their products in the market. “Humanity is acquiring all the right technology for all the wrong reasons,” goes the not-so-familiar saying. But if there's a technology that could disprove this claim. It would probably be Bluetooth technology. The benefits that humans have derived from Bluetooth, are probably the only reasons why it is still here. Companies and manufacturers are making sure that it will remain as more and more products are created with Bluetooth capability.
One that has just entered the list is a music phone called Fusic (LK550) by LG. The Fusic can play MP3 songs from a microSD removable disk. It's much easier to download songs and play them right in the phone. But here's what makes it a Bluetooth device. You can transmit audio via Bluetooth to car stereos or FM receivers. While this might seem the only feature it has, the Fusix is also a fully-functional camera phone. It has an integrated camcorder and a CMOS digital zoom camera. It also has a speakerphone unction and an automatic speech recognition which makes it more fun to communicate with your friends or loved ones. Additionally, the Fusic also has a web browser to keep you connected with the Internet anytime and anywhere. This amazing Bluetooth phone is initially released in the US for Sprint.

Where nature seems to lack, technology fills. A lot of people die of chronic diseases each year -- diseases like diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure. But with Bluetooth technology, those who have suffered for a very long time can be benefited. The Bluetooth Special Interest Group, a congregation of companies and manufacturers of products using Bluetooth configuration, came out with the effort to make Bluetooth radio technology more useful in the field of health by allowing medical devices to sync with Bluetooth powered devices such as PCs, mobile phones, and Personal Digital Assistants or PDAs.
These devices such as monitors for blood pressure, weighing scales among others will connect via Bluetooth to other consumer electronic products to check their conditions or send them to a doctor. In such case, Bluetooth can help people become more aware of their health status and be wary of any untoward changes in their body. The team in charge of the project includes nineteen companies that are all members of Bluetooth SIG. They include Motorola, IBM, Intel, Philips, Nonin Medical as well as Welch Allyn. With this kind of technology.

I recently posted an article about Broadcom Corporation. This company specializes in the production of semiconductors that are commonly used in wireless gadgets. Broadcom, in a strategy for expansion, has acquired a software company called Widcomm two years ago. This action was seen by many as a tactic for Broadcom to expand in the Bluetooth market.
In an agreement signed by the two companies, California-based Broadcom is bought Widcomm for $49 million USD in stocks. Widcomm is very exertive in selling Bluetooth chips to many customers including HP, Dell, IBM, Sony and Samsung Electronics, all of which are big names in the electronics market. When Broadcom bought Widcomm, it carried the latter's portfolio of Bluetooth products like chips, in its line of solutions and products. Bluetooth being the most used and most effective shortwave radio technology around, Broadcom is clinging to this principle as it looks forward to better and bigger shipments of their Bluetooth products and solutions.
Bluetooth is a globally-accepted standard thanks to Bluetooth SIG and since the Bluetooth configuration was introduced, more and more people have benefited in more ways than one from its good attributes.

Bluetooth technology is created to connect droplets of information on the air, but the technology was so sluggish making it look like it was created during China's Chairman Mao Zedong administration. In the early Bluetooth days, it was too costly despite it's retarding productivity making it's sales sink no lower. With this danger, numerous resources and cellphone companies like Nokia and Sony Ericsson dropped the price of products that used the technology.
On the contrary to mistakes that it is similar to WiFi, it's only a short-range wireless innovation found in headsets, cellphones, and personal digital assistants that is nice only within 30 feet. On the other hand, Wireless fidelity technology has a larger range that's why it is a primary component in Internet connection. Although it is quite expanding in the mobile phone industry, the said technology will have a long journey before it can invade the PC market.
With the threat that the technology will die because of the incessant widespread of Wi-Fi and Broadband, Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) released a road map to uplift the technology up to next two to three years. The said plan would hopefully be a series of technological improvements that will make it faster and effortless for developers to invent a software that will reach other computer applications such as multiplayer and online gaming, audio and command scenarios.

It is prohibited to use cellular phones on airplanes because it can interfere with the terrestrial wireless network. You can only call through the telephones provided on the plane, and these calls cost a lot. Aircell, Inc. and the Motorola company has studied the possibilities of using wireless gadgets while on flight. They have developed a link that doesn't interfere with cell-sites on land.
With this link and Bluetooth technology, you can use your notebooks, cellphones, personal digital assistants or other gadgets without fear of affecting the plane's signal system.

It is very hard to move when cables are around you. They tangle with your bag, your coat or worse, your hair. Bluetooth technology allows you to reap the same benefits of your wired headsets minus the hassle of wires.
Bluetooth makes connecting with other gadgets or accessories easy by getting pesky cables out of your way. Bluetooth technology uses radio frequencies in the 2.45 GHz range to transmit information over short distances of 10 meters or less. Bluetooth chips are embedded in gadgets to make sharing files, photos, MP3s much easier. Several companies are now experimenting with embedding Bluetooth chips on ATMs, to make cash withdrawal easier.
Also, Bluetooth parties are slowly becoming popular too. It gives you the chance to ask that hot chick over the bar without the risk of public humiliation in case you get rejected.
