The Bluetooth SIG or Special Interest Group has recently concluded the All Hands Meeting in Seattle, Washington last March 28-30. A series of Bluetooth Open Houses is to be hosted by the Bluetooth SIG in several countries like Italy, Ireland, USA, Denmark,
United Kingdom, Germany, and France.
The Open House events were to cater to
Bluetooth SIG members to continuously feed them with the latest in Bluetooth technology and also to recruit new members to join the organization. Bluetooth SIG's All Hands meeting are held every year to gather all the members of the group to a forum on the current situation and future needs of Bluetooth technology.
The SIG is non-profitable organization whose members are leaders in the areas of telecommunications, computers, automotive, fashion, music and other industries. It has over 4,000 members around the world. The group was established in September of 1998 and has its headquarters located in Washington, USA and also in Hong Kong and Sweden. Some of Bluetooth SIG's member companies are the big
names in telecommunications like Ericsson, IBM, Motorola, Intel, Microsoft, Nokia, and Toshiba and thousands of other names in many industries worldwide.
