The network of Bluetooth companies and providers called Bluetooth Special Interests group is planning to develop a next generation Bluetooth technology in consortium with other groups. The new Bluetooth configuration and its end products are expected to come out to the public by the year 2007.
This new innovation in Bluetooth will fuse together Bluetooth and
Ultra Wideband technologies. the result, a technology that allows 480 MBPS of bandwidth wireless transfer within short distance of services like video conferencing and file transfers of huge amount of data. And all this has been possible without nasty cables or wires to clutter your home or workspaces.
Bluetooth may look complicated but it has helped us in more ways then one, expanding not only in the field of computers and communication but as well as for home and medical use. At the least, Bluetooth has proven its versatility in various applications and products such as a Bluetooth keyboards from Apple, Bluetooth digital cameras from Canon, Bluetooth mobile phones from Nokia, Bluetooth
printers and scanners from Epson, among others. But that doesn't mark the end of its evolution. Technology evolves to cater to the demands of today and bring solutions to needs that might arise in the future.
